Hi! It’s me.

Hello, you gorgeous humans you and happy Wine Down Wednesday! Welcome to my midweek post featuring two things: A current wine I’m loving with a short post on a variety of topics ranging from style to travel, relationships, or other random thoughts that are in my brain.

This week, I want to share a fall staple – a leopard bootie – styled three ways.

Sit back, grab a glass of wine (or beverage of your choosing) and keep reading!

First Things First, Wine Time

As I’m writing this post, I’m thoroughly enjoying Meiomi Pinot Noir. This is one of my all-time favorite Pinot Noirs and one I regularly have on my bar cart. It’s a fruit-forward red featuring notes of strawberry, boysenberry, and blackberry. For added complexity, it has notes of vanilla and mocha. It’s perfect for cool autumn nights cozied up on a couch with the scent of a campfire fragranced candle burning as you read your favorite book or Netflix binge.

How I Styled It

I went with a monochromatic look, featuring a fall 2020 color staple, burgundy. Check out my full fall 2020 color trend report to see the color palette.

In this moment, I’m thinking about what I want for dinner. Spoiler alert: It was pasta.

Leopard Bootie Look 2

Top

  • Brand: Zara
  • Item: Oversized Poplin Shirt
  • Price: $35.90
  • Fit: Oversized? I got a medium that fits beautifully though I would have been perfectly fine in a Small. Because of the nature of this style, you can size down.

Leggings

  • Brand: Spanx
  • Item: Faux Leather Leggings
  • Price: $98
  • Fit: It’s tough to say (I’m wearing a large). With this thickness I’m rocking, I sized up. If you’re new to Spanx, follow the size guide. And, don’t be alarmed when you first see them as you’ll momentarily panic when you see how small they look. Once you put them on, they’ll become your new fave. It’s worth the investment AND it doesn’t flatten your butt.

Top

  • Brand: Vici
  • Item: Hermosa Ribbed Long Sleeve Crop Top
  • Price: $42

Leggings

The Spanx leggings once again! So yea, as much as I’d like to, I don’t have unlimited wardrobe funds and have other pesky things like rent and student loans. Like the average person, I repeat things hence why key items are investments. Also, who cares?

Not gonna lie, I felt super bloated yet these leggings minimized that. Worth the $98!
